Stacey received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. The majority of her career was spent at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was General Counsel of the hospital and its parent, TJUH System, for 15 years. Throughout her tenure, she was a member of the Hospital’s Ethics Committee and lectured widely on End of Life issues. She is a Certified Grief Educator who studied with David Kessler.
After Stacey retired from the Hospital, she continued to practice both law and executive coaching until 2018, when she and her husband sailed to the Bahamas on their Hylas 49, Delfina. She currently lives in Lambertville, New Jersey with her husband Christoph, a stone sculptor, and her energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, Luna. She is the mother of two living sons and the step-mother of one, as well as the grandmother of three beloved granddaughters. Pine Melody is her first book.
